Saturday's Cupcakes Take the Cake crafting event was a huge success. Thanks to a mention in Time Out NY, lots of New Yorkers discovered Etsy and the Labs.The cupcakes provided by Crumbs Bakery were beautiful and delicious (beautilicious?).
And the crafting! Oh, my! Attendees made cupcake-themed crafts out of polymer clay*, covered buttons and bags with cupcakes, and screenprinted cupcakes on shirts.
The chatroom and webcam were in full swing, and it was awesome (as always!) chatting with Etsians from all over and checking out their cupcake crafts. Here was one that caught my eye:
