Project: Crafting for Charity, making functional resources for the Helen Keller School for the Blind.Sunday from 2-6pm we hosted a crafting event here at the Labs to benefit the Helen Keller school. The school is non-profit, and is for children age 0-5, most are blind, and some have other developmental disabilities. It is a *wonderful* place, filled with caring and awesome staff members (including our own joannetracydesigns.etsy.com, who got the ball rolling on this project) and amazing, adorable kids.
original list of projects the school is in need of. We will be walking to the school later this week to donate them in person from Etsy. We will try our best to take photos while we are there so you can see how happy you all helped to make this school.
Here are some shots of us in action:
And I would like to give a special shout out to Abitabite and the hussies for making and sending us these amazing and magical sewn and textured machine washable hand and feet shapes:
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
